Ingrid Schlueter Didn't Find Shane Rosenthal's Joke Funny?

The photo was originally taken by Shane Rosenthal as a joke reference to the Brooke Shield commercials for Calvins jeans with the slogan "Nothing comes between me and my Calvins".

The seduction of the “Reformed” camp by Rick Warren continues apace.

The Tweet in the photo is by Steve Camp a man who spent a number of years exposing the Purpose-Driven false gospel only to do a 180-degree turnaround recently.

The photo is Reformed author and editor of Modern Reformation magazine, Michael Horton with his arm around Rick Warren, a statue of John Calvin between them.

It is clear that the term “Reformed” is about as meaningless as the term “evangelical.”

As Carl Trueman points out in his small book, The Real Scandal of the Evangelical Mind, the refusal by evangelicals to stand for doctrinal distinctives has rendered the term meaningless.

Likewise, the”Reformed” faith, supposedly rooted in sound doctrine, that can ignore the damage done by the a-doctrinal, unbiblical teachings of Rick Warren, becomes equally meaningless.

In fact, much of the “Reformed” world is in deep need of spiritual Reformation itself.

In an age of seemingly endless big name conferences where lip service is paid to sound doctrine, there exists a political structure that often prevents the honest exposure of false teachers.

In the heat of the battle, the “Reformed” network closes ranks, and far too often, the silence is deafening when it really matters.
